The Spectrum of User Experience
29 Jun 2009 by célineFollow IA to read the blog post about this diagram. I follow them and enjoy their thinking. As an ID I appreciate reading and learning other IDs practices. It all shapes a bigger understanding of different process. I have come to specialize as a Social ID, and am interested in the study of interaction between people and specific environment + people and people within that environment. Designing to me is finding solutions, and the more understanding and different skills a designer can master, the better shall he perform.

Drawing Is Thinking
16 Jun 2009 by céline
After reading about Milton Glaser’s exhibition in Slovenia entitled Drawing Is Thinking, I thought to myself “I couldn’t agree more with you Milton! Drawing is thinking and thinking with drawings is the key to my personal sanity”. I never considered myself an illustrator even though I have illustrated many little underground things. Mostly my sketch books and walls in Montreal and Beirut. Drawing saves my life in my job as an Interaction Designer, because sometimes language barrier or too much enthusiasm makes me mute. Words are so limiting compared to the vision one has. Fortunately we can draw our thoughts and get to translate some of that nebulous ideas to others. Here are a selection of some drawings that make us think:
Michael Surtees:
Aaron Straup:
Brian Solis:
Jorinde Voigt Studio:
Please contribute if you have came across interesting drawings that made you think, or if you made some drawings that made people think. Thank you, merci.
